4. The ten comprehension questions are measured by a variety of reading skills :
^ main idea
^ specific information
^ cause and effect relationships
^ drawing conclusions
^ predicting outcomes
^ sequencing
^ vocabulary
^ inference

5. The arrangement of the questions usually follow the paragraphs in the passage.

6. Answer for the first question can be found in paragraph one and so on.

7. Questions for this section may require you to think beyond the text. This mean that you would have to rely on your experience / prior knowledge in order to answer the questions correctly.


WHAT MUST YOU DO?

1. Read the instructions carefully. It will give you an idea of what type of material that you will be tested on.

2. Read the material given ( use ruler ). Take note of all text or graphics.

3. Read the all the questions and options given.

4. Read the material again. You will get better understanding.

5. Pay attention to words like ‘except’, ‘incorrect’, ‘but’, ‘not true’, ‘ untrue ’ etc.

6. When the question ask on meaning, make sure that the answer chosen has the same meaning with one in the passage.
